Just replaced the broken sear and it shoots like a dream. I was afraid I wouldn't find the parts. Made in Germany the La was only produce three years this one 1965

Nice! I had a chance to buy an Erma .22 back in the early 70s but got a Stoeger Luger instead. Big mistake!

The Stoeger was a jamamatic, shoulda bought the Erma. At least my next two Lugers were better (DWM and Mauser)!

My Dad had a Stoeger too. when I first saw this one laying on a table at gun show it reminded me of his. When I got it home I had jams, misfires failure to feed and eject. I took it apart and found it had a broken sear. I replaced the sear and all the springs and replaced the ejector pin. Now it is really spitting them out like it should. It was also a gooey mess even the mag was filthy as I had seen. As far as I can tell Bobs gun shop in Ar. is the only place that had the round type sear the is used in the La.
