This pistol is a German made .22 Luger look
alike that utilizes a flat sear and a firing pin block(what I would
call a hammer)which engages the sear at a 45 deg angled edge. The
problem is that unless the sear is released it wont cock. The firing
pin block(hammer)wont slide back past the sear causing the toggle
mechanism to jam. It seems like there should be some way for the sear
to drop allowing the block to slide over and past it but the sear
release isnt allowing it to unless the trigger is pulled. I have the
parts illustration for it and have it taken down now and have been
studying it hard but I just cant see how the action is supposed to
allow it to cock. Can someone explain this to me?
