I've always been interested in engraving but I've always had too much on the table.

What are the tools of the trade and what is a good resource for learning techniques?

I think GRS is in Emporia, Kansas. Bill Janney, who does all the gunstock carving and engraving gives week long classes there. It's about $800 for the class tuition and about that much more for the unit.
