I just bought a DVD Clint's twin movies, 'Flags of Our Fathers' and 'Letters From Iwo Jima'.. The bloke is bloody brilliant! Both movies are a great way to spend an afternoon and are very interesting to watch. After 'Grand Torino' and these pair, I'm convinced that along with Tommy Lee Jones ('In the Valley of Elah' and 'No Country For Old Men'), Eastwood has become a much smarter and better movie maker as he ages.. Anyone else seen these movies??

I have and am a fan. But I've liked him since the spaghetti westerns from way back when:)

I was disappointed in "Flags." I don't know, I was just expecting more I guess. I didn't like some of the actors who played the leads.

But "Iwo Jima" I loved. And, yes, he just keeps getting better with age.

I first saw him as "Rowdy" in "Rawhide". His first part and he out shined most of the cast. I guess you call that a natural'

Gran Torino is the best low-budget film I've seen in awhile. Clint plays the piano... writes songs/music... even sang one of 'em at the end of GT!
