East German AK help needed please

    Hello Everyone,
    I recently purchased an East German AK and wanted to get more information on it.
    Anyhow I am posting pictures of my AK and asking for help from the experts please.
    Anything relevant or non relevant would be surely appreciated from everyone.

    It may be because when AK's are imported into the US they need to have some of their parts swapped out for US made parts. This is probably what the difference is.

    Yea we have a 992r complaint parts or whatever its called there needs to be a couple american parts in order to be imported

    Thanks all for your comments thus far. I have too have been noticing that as well. Most of the photos on the internet are either of German soldiers After the '90s or mainly posted by the people of N. America. We have the Krinks here as well but have never seen one with black bolt until a friend ordered a parts set from US. Also the krinks and most AKs sold here have chrome lined barrels - something the US parts kit did not have.
