I was wondering if anyone knows market value of a used desert eagle chambered in .50? Oh and it is the gold model, not the tiger striped one.

That's a tough one. There are not a lot of those being sold to use as a price comparison. Try checking the sold auctions on GunBroker and see if you can get an idea of prices they're selling for.

Would you think trading a S&W M &P 15 optic ready with one magpul 30 round, magpul rail covers, and magpul flip up sights would be a decent trade?

Keep in mind I don't shoot the m&p very often, kind of just hangs out in the safe, so I figured if I was going to have something sit in the safe it might as well be a gold desert eagle 50

Probably so. D Eagles are cool guns, but not much of a market for them. The Eagle is probably technically worth more than the M&P, but finding a buyer will be tough. Whereas the M&P will be easier to resell and is a more popular gun than the Eagle.

They are cool looking that is for sure. I have zero use for one, but like I said I don't use the m&p much at all either ( let alone trying to find ammo)

Plus I would be able to officially call myself a "collector" lol

No A friend just bought one for $500. I dont know which model but it was a 50.

$500 for a 50 cal eagle??? He got one hell of a deal!! Sounds almost to good to be true.
