Okay, here's a question.
Did Elmer ever actually kill Bugs?
i don't think he did. i think Bugs faked it a few times to fool Elmer Fudd!
However, the coyote did catch the roadrunner one time, couldn't figure out what to do with him, and let him go.
That's when childhood ended, and the last time I watched a cartoon.
OK, no winners so, yes he did.
An episode called "What's Opera, Doc?[/B]" Generally known as the "Kill The Wabbit!" episode. Based on Wagners Neibeling.
You know, Brunnehilda.
And actually, I think there may have been another, very old one. I'll have to check into that.
I thought he wanted to eat it.
Have you seen the family guy, when he finally kills the roadrunner?
He falls into a depression and almost kills himself. After some soul searching the sequence wraps up with him being a christian missionary
Sorry, but he sits up at the end. Not dead.
Yes, he looks up and says "What did you expect from opera, a happy ending?"
But he was killed.
Fine, I won't split hares....
Of course Fudd never killed BB. That would end the relationship,
series, and confrontation...
(Plus, I've seen all those toons, like, 487 times.)
Not in real life sadly enough...
Those were the days...
BB, Tom and Jerry, Woody Wood Pecker and a few others were staples. Adults and Children could enjoy them together and both were entertained well. Today they are considered taboo, too violent. Now you can watch Tele Tubbies love thrmselbes and each other for an hour or transformers blow up inamimate objects.
I could repeat the classic Barber of Seville Bugs Bunny almost verbatim when I was a kid. How many cartoons today could get a a 4 year old to sing a classical opera?
