I wonder whats inside...
LCW (the manufacturer of DuraCoat) is sponsoring the project directly.
I am hoping I can take the record (for the time being) of the largest item to be DuraCoated.
Well keep the thread updated. I'd love to see how it turns out! Guess the airbrush isn't going to cut on this one ;-)
I think I am as excited as you are Duracoater. Can't wait to see how it goes, I want to duracoat the wheels on my suv
Keep good pics as you make progress.
I wish you the best!
There will be many pics. That is actually part of the deal with LCW - they require before, during, and after pictures (high reso versions of course) free of any royalties to use as they see fit. (haha!)
Sounded good to me since they supplied the materials!
Any advertising going to be on the buggy?
Yup, they get prime real estate on each side of the chassis body. Going to be a black vinyl design of their logo and ours.
Trying to get Autometer on board as well, but doesn't look promising.
And it has begun?
I just discovered these cool little lids you get for gallon paint jugs at Home Depot. Second best invention ever!
The first best invention (as far as DuraCoating goes...) is this doo-dad - a mini paint mixer.
And the subtle difference between ACU Light Tan (Glock) and Desert Mint...
