Please define and give me an example. We have few topics that are "Off Limits" - but the ones that are, are pretty universal and serious with consequences.

Many believe this is a very dangerous practice and should not be encouraged.
I have been duplexing with my 270wsm and wonder if it is kosher to share the info in this forum.
Duplexing is a dirty word on some other forums!

I was trying to talk Robo's twins into it but no luck. Now apparently there is another Texas JIHAD out on me. I may never get to the lower 12 or 13 states again.

No, but in your case, being hung like a 12 year old doesn't help your chances....:D

JD, If you had to carry on a conversation for more than...oh, 15 seconds, your thoughts of duplexing with the twins would be over.

Back to the topic at hand. Duplexing of ammo. It would depend on how you are using the word. There are duplex bullet loads and duplex powder loads. The only duplex powder load I would consider is for my 45-70. Those loads are fully tested and published. Using two different smokeless powders in something like the WSM MAY be dangerous. It certainly would be an advanced technique. This and just about every other forum on the net would frown upon such techniques because of the vast number of impressionable neophytes in the loading game that could take such information and ultimately harm themselves or others with improperly used and tested recipes.

Liability is the name of the game, my friend.

Really? I thought he meant Duplexing is superior to mirroring in terms of availability because it provides the same protection against drive failure that mirroring does, but also protects against the failure of either of the controllers.

HaHa! Do you use Dogpile as your search engine too?
