I know there are kits but I'm looking for something completed. I don't care just as long as it's not percussion or rifled. Can anyone help me out? I'm also considering a smooth bore pistol.

Split the difference: The Underhammer Society

Have heard the smoothbore flintlock pistols with opposite locks called
"Horse Pistols". Usually there was a pair of them, one left and one right.
Carried in a pair of holsters slung over the saddle.

Scratch do a search for TVM and then go to to TVM muzzleloaders, they have a fowler, smoothbore, 62 cal., flintlock that they will make in either right or left handed. Be prepared to wait it takes time to get one but well worth it.

Scratch they do a nice job, wood to metal fit is great. Mine wears a 42 inch bbl, Ialso have a canoe gun in 62 that I did which is great for hunting.
