Well, the collector's value as a military arm sort went south when it was "sporterized". Value now is pretty much as a shooter. And top break .38 S&Ws (NOT .38 Special) snubbies are not real high on the list. As a connection to your family, and a neat bit of histoey- priceless. To put a mundane value in terms of dollars and cents- $50-$75.
