I must confess that my Mossberg 590 has composite in it.

The Remington's do not, I will admit.

Still, I love my Mossberg, and so does the USN and USMC.

My OLD 870 wingmaster has a "Rubber " butt plate,
I would post my express but as noted by JTJ it also has a hard plastic butt plate.

My Grandfather's Springfield has a plastic spacer between the wood and recoil pad. My Great-grandfathers H&R has spacer as well, but the firing pin is one he made out of some iron rod himself. It was definitely a tool from the farm.

Heck my Mossberg's entire trigger housing group is composite.

So I sure would not worry about having a plastic spacer between the stock and the recoil pad.

Have a 3rd model Hopkins & Allen SxS 12 g. Since it was made in August 1913, fairly confident that it is plastic free. My Fox Sterlingworth is also a fairly safe bet.

No. Since synthetic rubber is technically plastic. Even Gutta-percha is technically a naturally occurring latex (plastic).

Grade III Weatherby Athena, and if it has any plastic in it or on it I've yet to see it. Just wood and metal.

Webley & Scott 920. The only plastic is the recoil pad.

I collect shotguns from the late 1800's to the early 1900's , not much plastic used back then.
Gutta-percha butt plates and grip caps on some, but reproduction plastic on most of them.
Gutta-percha does not hold up well after 100 years or more of use.

It's hardened tree sap. Considering how well I am holding up after only 66 years I can't fault it at all. :)
