Do you have a least favorite cartridge?

Just wondering if anyone has a cartridge that they really don't like; be it performance, accuracy, or seems like it was a mis-thought trainwreck?

.32 Short Colt. Have a few European revolvers in that anemic former black powder loading (and no, does not interchange with .32 S&W) Expensive, hard to find, fairly useless.

Of course .45 GAP falls into the same boat...……...

But if I was pressed for an answer it would have to be 28 gauge shells. Yea you can find some at the LGS, but its never exactly what I'm looking for. Of course you can find #9 anywhere. I even found some of that at a Feed store.

    Blasphemy!
Just kidding. Mine would be 7mm Remington Magnum. Excellent cartridge, but I always cringe when I hear it mentioned because of the yahoos here who use if for deer at less than fifty yards.
As far as technical properties, the .22 TCM underwhelmed me. Shooting is fun, but performance is meh. And magazine design is poor for the RIA 1911s chambered for it.

If you think finding 28s (red shell) is a challenge, the light green shell is a 32 gauge. Dark green is a .410

.40 S&W... just don’t like it. Lots of experience shooting it in a SIG 226. Like the Sig... hated the .40... so my son early inherited it.

    .30 Carbine.
I love the mini Garand action, wasted on that horrible cartridge. Sure, "it us supposed to replace a pistol" everyone says.
Its like they were looking for a .223/5.56 in 1943 and came up with a miniature 45-70 but slower.

The cartridge filter in my refrigerator that they want $60 for... Useless. We have good water and I've been drinking tap water for 60+ years.

We don't need no stinkin' cartridges...

I had an external filter mounted in the wall behind the fridge, from the old fridge anyway, so I just kept using it. The fact that a three pack of the filters I already had mounted, costs lest Han half of the proprietary filter closed that deal.

The .25 ACP, heck the .22 Short is faster & has more energy, heck even the .25 Stevens Short is faster & has more energy, and it's a rim fire & obsolete !.............

Rather than packing anything in .25 ACP caliber, I'd rather have a "Louisville Slugger". Once someone figures out that they were shot with a .25 ACP round, they're probably gonna get upset over what was intended.

Around 25-30 years ago, one of the major manufacturers brought out a re-issue of the L.C. Smith S x S ( can't remember who it was ) in both 24 & 32 gauge. Didn't go over very well as far as sales, but I still have a full box of the 32 gauge shells:

9mm. Least favorite out of that, .357, and .44 mag.

I like the biggest one. Might try .45 Colt some day.
