Let's hear thoughts on the 6.5 Grendel? I enjoyed the 300 so much, I would like hear this one.
6.5 Grendel is a FAR superior cartridge IF you reload. You need fire formed brass and you need a low cost per round to be effective.
The nice thing about the Grendel is it uses the smaller 7.62 x 39mm bolthead, which leaves a lot of "meat" on the BCG.
I was looking at building a 6.5 Grendel before the recent administration took over and I decided to "downsize" my arsenal based on round count and style.
6.5 Grendel is an excellent round and capable of delivering EXCELLENT long range accuracy.
My shooting partner has an Alexander in 6.5G. Great shooting rifle. He had a bad chamber when new and it too Alexander over a year to replace it. Said they had to fill back orders before they could handle a warranty issue.
He has worked up some great loads and is planning on using it to sweep the Police Games again this year.
The 6.5G is a solid 1,000+ yard performer.
