I would like to put a good camo finish on my AR or SKS for when I got coyote hunting. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't paint the AR, if you paint the SKS, buy a different stock first. Those wooden stocks are getting hard to come by because of customizing.

Also the camo isn't going to do any good, if you like it that's fine, but don't do it just for concealment purposes. Spray paint isn't very durable so I would use Brownells alumahyde II or a Duracoat camo kit

Ok. I'll look into the kits. And I found a cammo wrap that's useful for breaking up the outline of my firearms that will work for now

It's bulky but pretty convincing.

nothing beats krylon fusion camo and a very porous sponge

this is how my stock started out,, it came in OD green so i used that for a base color

and a about 30mins with a sponge and some black and khaki and i now have this

doing it this way makes it look much more natural and less man made,,, remember camo is suppose to be random and works much better when done
