for years ive just been wiping it down and applying some grease here and there. today i fully dissassemble it for a very thorough cleaning.

got it all greased up cleaned and put it back together much easier than i though it would be.

    back in one piece again.

it runs like brand new now. its running so smooth now that i thought i left the indexing ring off and had to double check!!

anyone else take theirs apart for a deep cleaning and regreasing??

Don't have the 650 but I do it to both my square deal and 550 about once a year.

I do that to my 650 around once per year. Why - I had a 550 for 22 years, never lubed anything on the press. It did 10's of 1,000's of rounds. Every time it started to wear out (Slop in the linkage), I would just have Dillon fix it. But the 650 is a high volume press, and it seems I do more reloading now than I have ever done before so it needs more maintenance.
