    Congrats! Where did you find it? in the trash can at the gas station across the street from that seedy motel?

    Very nice piece of history you have there Jiro. Where did you "find" it?

    One question:

    Are you covering up the crescent scar of shame on the left side of the weapon? :D

    Hahahaha...I have to come clean guys...this is just a friends firearm....but it's still sweet.


    I still 'found' it but I'd thought I'd let you drool over it as much as I am now.


    It's a 1918 Colt 1911 that served in both WW1 and WW2.

    At first I thought it was a knock-off because something was wrong..........then I realized it's a M1911 pre-1924!

    So yeah it's basically the Holy Grail of all 1911s

    And it's in pristine condition....80-90 percent I'd say.
