different 700 models??

    Does anyone know the differences between the remington 700 models? im trying to get familiar with my new gun, and i noticed there are like 10 different models. i have the sps. i looked at remingtons website but they really didnt go into detail.

    Not to sure what you realy need to know . But for starters the SPS stands for sniper police special Which is one of there more acurate of the 700 modle.
    When you say Modle's are you refering to 700,710,ect.,ect..?
    If so wash you're hands if they even graze a 710.

    what are the differences in the remington 700 BDL, CDL, LV SF, MOUNTAIN LSS, SPS, SPS DM, SPS STAILNESS (which is self explanatory),VLS, SENDERO SF 2, VSF, VS SF2, XCR, XCR RMEF EDITION:confused: . i was wanting to know what was the major differences, and why they have so many versions. basicaly, wondering how mine compares to the rest.

    The variations of the 700 are differences in quality materials Grade's of the stalk and or if it a commemorative gun such as the RMEF edition ( Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Edition). Or it's weight class such as the Mountain LSS (Mountain Light Sport Sniper.
    Weater it is a Composite stalk or Traditional wood.

    IMHO the SPS is the better choice of the line. Hope this casts some light on the subject for you.
