After finishing my 7.62 build, i realized this was the easiest float I have worked with. The barrel nut is a simple hex you can tighten with a crescent wrench. There is no timing it for the gas tube. It's light, fells good and easy to install. I recommend this free float, my new favorite.

    Man that looks sick!!! :D

    What color Cerakote is that?

How do like that vertical grip? I'm considering one as well.

It is gun metal grey. The grip is cool, short, and it has a battery storage in it , one I will never use. It does have some sharp edges.

Interesting free float tube, is it comfortable to grip ?

Does it remain flat on shooting bags at the bench ?

For slow fire bench shooting I really really like them.

I have not shot it yet, but the bottom of the float tube is flat. I would think it would lay flat.

I like how easy it is to snap in and have a quicker sight alignment and sight picture. I have not shot through them yet, but I can hopefully do a review and range report on her when I can get to the range

No problem, I'm not going to keep the rail if it doesn't feel good. Just holding it feels nice , of course that can change once firing in different positions. I plan on keeping this build as is, no optics, no add ons. So it should not change the balance and ergonomics .
