Hello all, With my recent interest in vegetable gardening came yet another interest: preservation. Now obviously there are many methods of preserving food stuffs, and all have their ups and downs, but I wanted to focus on drying. So, I am looking for input and resources on dehydrating veggies. I realize some will probably dry and eat better than others and that some will use conventional dehydrators and some will use less conventional methods. What is the input on these two topics? I want to know what I grow will keep well dehydrated and I dont want to have to spend $200 on a machine to do it (most of this will be relatively small scale). Thanks in advance for any input!
