    I have been so focused on dehydrating things that I have failed to remember what to do with the stuff after it done :eek:. I found my digital oven will go to 175 degrees and 2 big 1/2 sheet pans with silicone sheets work great. I have one of those mandolins for slicing. Now I have gallon bags of dried apple rings. Help, what is the best way to store them?

    We vacuum seal either in bags or jars after drying. Bit overkill, but should lead to long storage life.

    I wish I had that problem...:eek::D

    Glad you have it! Extra food is a good thing. Bet you'll work it out.

    Once you vacuum seal it do you need to freeze it or can it stay out on the shelf like potato chip? How long will it last? anyone have a link for info on drying food? Thanks
