Hey guys, so back in 2005 for Christmas my father bought me a Remington model 710 in caliber 270. Well I have done some research and I read that Remington had a recall for that model in 2006. This I did not know of on account I got the rifle in 2005. The first 50 rounds shot great and I always kept the rifle clean and properly taken care of. Well I went shooting and the first round I put in it fired, as I went to eject the casing the bolt was locked down and therefore I could not eject the empty casing. I had to take the whole gun apart to pull it out something happened in the trigger group when I fired that round causing the bolt to lock down. Has anyone had this same problem? And does Remington have a warranty on the rifle? It was not my fault, it was the manufature's fault someone please help and guide me on what to so

I'm not sure if its apply to larger centre fire rifles, but was the case cracked/split at all? I've had this issue a few times in my .17HMR with Winchesters ammunition.

Have you contacted Remington yet? That should be your first contact.

Well I just tried contacting them and their closed today. I figured I'd post about it and see what other people thought and if they had the same problem.
