In MS you're allowed no more than 5 rounds for deer season & mine holds 7. Does anyone make them or do I have to make it myself?

All you need is a little piece of dowel that is 2 or 3 rounds long.

I thought you could get away with just only carrying 5 rounds on you.

Update: Something must've changed. I looked up the rules to find that there are NO restrictions!! Guess I'll take the UZI :p

Tell me its full auto. Your in Memphis, I'm in Hernando, maybe if I buy a stack of ammo...

It's been too long since I shot a full auto anything.

Great! I should have a pretty good check in the mail sometime around the first week of October. Feel like letting me put a few downrange? I've always wanted to shoot an UZI, I'd love to buy one. (alas, the check wont be that big though)

Is it possible that the previous rule of 5 rounds was for only "semi automatic" rifles or shotguns?Like here in MI that's how it is.

Sounds like fun. It's Federal Champion FMJs. The Bambi gun needs a good breaking in.

totally possible, but don't know. lots of times MS doesn't bother with the nitpicky rules.

Not 100%, but i think it has to be soft points for deer.

If MS is like NH you can use a tube magazine rifle, but do yourself a favor, just load it w/ 5. You can use a 20..30 round mag here, but you better have only 5. Simpler on those rifles to use the 5 round mag.

Well when I was picking up a little ammo (I plan on hunting with my 91/30 this year) I was told that milsurp ammo is legal in here in MS. It's definitely NOT soft point. Of course his word isn't law, I have to look it up to make sure.
