So here its my dilemma.. I would like to start bow hunting this year, so obviously I need to buy a bow. However, I'm also really wanting to do an AR build. I can't decide if I should invest in the bow and give myself more time to practice or if I should do the build before any kind of ban is passed. Thoughts?

Can't use a crossbow in Illinois lol. But that's true I suppose I could buy the lower and bcg.. I assume both would become impossible to get post ban, particularly in Illinois

THIS is why you support the NRA!... Crossbows existed during the times of our founders and were most certainly included in the 'right of the people to keep and beat arms.' Guns had the NRA, crossbows did not... Now, no crossbows in states.

Bear arms. I think orangello designed autocorrect to erase 'bear' when I type it.

With all the diversity towards guns and ammo, the bow would make for a great back-up "Gorilla Warfare" weaponry , something to think about...!

    ^................? :)

Be careful boss, there's gorillas in the jungle...

There are not gorillas in South America. They are native to Africa, you are a moron!... Walks off into woods...

Cut to: he's held at gunpoint by guerillas.

    'He said GO-rilla, NOT GU-rilla!... There's a huge difference!!!'

Actually you can use a crossbow here in illinois after the first 2 gun seasons if you have archery tags, you will want to practice quite a bit with a bow, until you are comfortable hunting with it, I shoot all year a fire thousands of arrows to improve myself for the upcoming season, archery is my biggest passion even bigger than shooting guns.

Nope, new law they started this year, if you have archery permits after the 2nd shotgun season anyone can crossbow hunt.
