I was thinking if getting a DS 9.5" FSP Lite rail.
Should I just keep the stock M4 handguards?
And save the money. I'll be putting it on a 10.3".

What do you have on it right now? A Troy tube w/ a Gear Sector mount/VFG and a 300 would work well IMO.

I just have stock M4 Carbine handguards with the heat shield in them. And a 5" rail on the bottom for a Tangodown stubby.

I'm just wondering if it's worth the money and time to install it. The DD 9.5" FSP Lite rail goes for $350 or so and I will only be paying $220 for the rail system with the DD wrench brand new in box.

What length is the upper w/ the Troy and Gear Sector vfg?

For $220 I'd go for it. If you end up needing the tool l have one I'll let you have. Ordered it w/ my RIS on accident.

I'm going for it. I couldn't find one brand new b with DD barrel nut tool and 3 sets of latters.

This is current, and will post pics when I get the rail and install it.

I have a 9.5 FSP and it's absolutely worth it. If your going to pay to get it installed, use that money to buy an upper receiver vice block and an armorers wrench instead. Then you can do your own from now on. It is easy and more satisfying and you can change out your flash hiders/ brakes at will. You could use the gas block punch pin block but it's unusable while reinstalling the gas block with the 9.5. Just use a piece of wood. You can watch videos on YouTube, to get an idea. $220 is a jump on it deal. Best of luck.

Went ahead an ordered the AR Pro Aluminum upper and lower receiver vise block combo set.
The DD 9.5" FSP Lite Rail comes with the DD wrench. So I should be good to go.
And have the satisfaction of doing the work myself :).

And a torque wrench. May be unnecessary, but I use them. Your DD nut wrench will use a1/2" drive socket. You could borrow one from your local car parts store if you don't already have one.

I have several torque wrenches in 1/2 & 3/8 drive. The only thing I don't have is a vise.
    Have to visit Home Depot.

Will the DD wrench take off my stock barrel nut? So I don't have to my a AR amours wrench.
