You can get close with serial numbers. If it has the original barrel Remington USUALLY stamped a barrel date code on the left side in front of the chamber area. Do a Google search on date codes and you'll see them. If yours doesn't have the date code, it is not rare. I have 3.

Sorry OP, I couldn't resist. Contact Remington. They should be able to date it by it's S\N.
Yep, I emailed remmington about one, they gave me the date. The barrel was older than the rest.
