    Few weeks ago
a friend gave me an old Colt single action, 32 wcf.
    That was given to him.
    Great huh?
No, some one had added crude adjustable sights.
Replaced the trigger guard and grip frame with some badly fitted brass parts.
    Not original cylinder.
    And,
center punched the serial number so couldnt read it.
Gave it back to my friend,
said he would cut it up and get rid of it.
Would like to smash the hands that did this evil thing.

removing or attempting to remove a serial number is something the BATFE likes to send peeps to prison for long as the offender is not on welfare or an illegal alien or drug runner. those get free free passes. honest law abiding citizens win 10 year terms in prison. be careful your friend doesnt get ya in trouble.

Good call; i passed on a KahrPM40 due to some "wear" about the serial number plate. Admittedly, i had some concerns that it may have gotten lost at one time or another.

I'd be cautious about associating with a "friend" that tried that on me. Who knows what kind of baggage he may get you involved in.

He really is a good friend.
"Here it is, do you want it?"
    After looking it over,
    I gave it back.
    Remember,
this is an old Colt S.A.
    Who wouldnt want it.
    If it were right.
