How do you take out the hammer group on the CZ52? There's a nut on the opposite side of the safety, I took it off and I don't want to go any further until I know if it could be done without special tools or if it could be done period without a whole lot of skill. Thanks! image-189782369.jpg

Well I took the side plate off and cleaned out some brown gunk (not cosmoline) and cleaned and lightly oiled the trigger arm, spring, and trigger housing. This is where it gets bad. After I reassembled it all, I ran some cycle tests and I got this grinding noise so I took it apart and tried again, this happened 3 times then finally I tried again and the trigger pull got loose. I took it apart again and look what I found. image-1793475229.jpg
The left side arm is bent. It was perfectly straight. Should I order a new one or try to straighten it back out? Thanks.

Buy a new spring. If not an entire spring kit.

Ok thanks. I'll probably order a new firing pin too just in case and put then in my bug out bag.

Yeah that's where I went to figure out how to put it all back in the right place.
