Just picked up a vz52, 1953 model, very well used. The barrel was uber nasty, thinking lots of surplus corrosive ammo run thru it without cleanings. Took it apart and cleaned and oiled it, put it back together and put one round thru it to make sure I wouldn't end up with a face full of slide. Seemed to work just fine, boy did it bark. Anyone here have one and have some advice or hints? Seems to me the 7.62x25 is a overlooked really hot little round for a handgun. Oh ya, I still have my face and it's in one piece!
