For get it. Just not worth it try'n to piece to gether a very low value revolver. It may still need some fitting even if you do find one.

i know its low value but it is a great shooter, i can put all nine shots in a cola can at 20yds. i called h&r and spoke to a man that has been there when they made the nef. he said the cylinders from the last h&r's would also fit as long as they were the swing out type and 9 shot, just make sure they were of the newer models. a friend has a nickle r92 and i have tried his cylinder, it works perfect in it. the guy at h&r said he didn't think they would need to be fitted as they sold cylinders to folks that wanted to order them when they made revolvers. it shoots too good to just put away, and my budget won't allow me another gun unless i can get one for under $50 which is what i have for a cylinder. thanks

i tried to reblue the whole gun with cold blue, the gun frame turned out great and is still looking good. the cylinder would not take, it was spotted and then would start to rust. i tried everything so i finally gave up and wanted to just get another cylinder. lucky for me i went to a gun store about 30 miles away yesterday, the guy had just been to an auction. when i asked him about a cylinder he said he didn't know how to get one but would sell me a whole gun. he had bought a h&r 622 22lr, it looked like a new one and was in perfect condition. he had a h&r in 32s&w, don't know the model but it was nice. then he brought out a nef r-92 22lr just like mine, worked perfect but does have surface rust a little not bad just a few specs here and there. i sked him the price on the nef and he said $85 and he would through in a 50rd box of ammo. so i bought it, he also recommended flitz metal polish to get the rust off, will this work or should i just use oil and 0000 steel wool? thanks
