Basically I machined an aluminum receiver that the barreled action bolted inside of then mounted the ar foregrip to the aluminum so the barrel free floats. Milled a pocket for the trigger and mag. Then just attached an ak grip and ar buttstock to the aluminum receiver.Barney1023 said:I'd be interested to know how u attached the ar forend to the barrel
Actually I do in California. Lolorangello said:You got a sister?

Only someone who hasn't or can't build a custom rifle would wonder why. I bet you are a wall-mart special kind of guyChainfire said:I just wonder why?
A tactical, bolt action rifle, that was discarded by the Russians because it was obsolete.
I agree with you 110%. Thanks for your input.primer1 said:Good idea. If you streamline the process, set a process to mass produce it, you just might have a home business on your hands. With the price of a mosin, lots of people might be interested in being able to do that.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no shopping trips are in my immediate future. I am well fixed for modern and historical firearms and I understand the value of both. I am sure that there is some 16 year old Ninja wannabe, walking through your local mall, that would love to own a tacticool Mosin-Nagant.Haha. Wall mart has got some great deals right now
