Crafted by Randy Porter, who has made and sold several hundred of knives, his latest measures 7 7/8-inches long overall. It features a 3 7/8-inch blade fabricated from 440c high carbon stainless steel with a satin finish. Its cutting surface is 3 1/4 inches. The blade is RC 57-58 and 1-inch at its widest point of the sharp edge. A solid brass finger guard separates the blade from the dyed deer antler handle. The blade's tang is deeply inserted into the handle and permanently attached with industrial strength epoxy. The antler handle has been specially treated, finely sanded, polished and fitted with a fancy wooden end cap. For Forum members, it is $40 with free shipping in the continental U.S. Supporting Members take an additional $5 off. Contact Randy at rp50817@windstream.net. Thank you very much. It may be small, but I bet it can gut any big game in North America.
