What does the "+" behind a users name designate?
Friend, I believe!
Hmmmm... if that is true my system must be wigging out. I don't have very many "friends", and earlier this evening it was showing a boatload of people on-line with +'s after their names (unknown to me) and I couldn't figure out what that indicated.
Then again, it's probably just ME that's wigging out.
The " + " sign behind the name means those people are superior to the ones who don't have one behind their names.
I would rather have a "+" than a "-".
You have ten friends on your list that have been accepted. Perhaps there are others that have sent a request, but it has not been accepted. They would still show up with a "+" I believe.
Where is this "+" symbol you all speak of?
Ah, that's why my user name has 5 +'s after it.
I believe it is on the list of 'Users currently online".
"Ahhhh... I see..." said the blind man.
Sort of a FTF "fleabay" rating system then?
I still think it was just a hiccup in the system (or just my pea brain) because the online list I got last night was showing like 50-60 people, with 15-20 +'s in there among them. Not showing any additional requests on my end, so I'll just chalk it up to another senior moment.
Now where's the Tylenol...???
Man....this is REALLY BOTHERING you, isn't it?
After all this time I never even realized that feature
You're like a pit bull on this whole + or - thing!
The "+" means they are in your contacts list. OK.
A contact doesn't necessarily have to be a friend and Vice Versa.
So to recap, If you see the "+" after the name they are in your contacts.
If you click on my name to the left you will see "Add Shihan to your Contacts" if you click that it will bring to a page to ask to send a friend request also, but you don't have to.
There is your answer in a nutshell.
Nah. More like a Labrador . I'm MUCH more laid back than a pit bull. Honest!
I do have an affliction though. If something catches my interest I am compelled to know how it works. Damn genetics...
Just trying to understand how you can have contacts and not be notified about them. Nothing in the FAQs about this stuff. But you know what curiosity does to cats eh?
OK, fine -- I'll STHU now. I'll still be testing Shi's hypothesis though. (Next time he logs on anyway.) LOL.
Just joshin' ya, I'm the same way, been accused of having a touch of the OCD anal stuff myself.
A touch? If you say so.......
A heapin' helpin'?
Not hypothesis, it is fact. Bank it.
