Picked this up at a yard sale today. The seller thought it was some type of boat anchor. My guess was a door stop or overly complicated hammer. Either way I bought it because it seems to be an antiquated piece of machinery... Wondered if JD or Cane couold shed some light on it for me since they seem to collect these oddities?

Seriously though. I sold this about two years ago and the buyer was planning on selling it off, so it came full circle back to me. This is my absolute favorite handgun despite my trash talk. My question is, did S/A use a common rear sight dove tail angle (Novak, Bo Mar, etc.)? The front sight is peened/ tenon due to the exhaust port locations so I can handle that. Just looking at low profile no snag rear sight options and there isn't a decent gunsmith near me to measure it. If anyone has any ideas what the angle might be I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Jeep's Back!! Where you been brother??

Didn't believe that song and dance for a minute, but I know Jeep and knew something was up when he said garage sale and had pictures of that beauty.

Yes, I believe that S/A does use the standard dove tail, I am not sure of the exact angle, but I do not believe you need a special order. Cane or stalkingbear might know the exact model you need....
