I have been wondering this for a while. If there anyone here who can help me out with this inquiry?

I guess in case that you have to get rid off of some drones, you just make your way into an enemy base and wrap them all with explosives. Or mess up with them using a screwdriver, a wrench, and some pliers. But what if the situation demands for quicker means? Could any firing weapon you carry dismantle them?

So you mean when they are on the ground or while they are flying? Also what type of drone like a reaper or predator? Or one of those small ones?

I mean a predator drone. Thought there are differences between a proyectile impact from a distance, while in movement, and at point-blank, I generally mean if calibers from pistols, shotguns, assault rifles; and/or machine guns can pierce the hull of one of them. If it ain't that much to ask.

@jjfuller1: Sure, can I borrow, like, a couple of thousands of dollars from you? Is just to get past bureaucracy to get one. But I'll pay, I swear.

They generally fly so high small arms wont be effective. They bite back so if you do shoot at it you better kill it!

We did have one out of Syracuse crash into Lake Ontario a few months back. They still havent found it and havent said what brought it down!

You could try letting the air out of the tires, if that doesn't work try sticking a potato up the exhaust that should ground it. :)

Only Anti aircraft will take it down. Or, malfunction/operator error.

they are not armored that I know of so if they are on the ground and you want to disable one of them im sure a couple of well placed bullets can render it inoperable. As a matter of fact I am sure that in the absence of a c4 destructive kit thats one of the ways to disable it to prevent its capture by any enemies. In flight they fly so high you won't even know it is there all this hollywood BS you see where they are flying NOE down broadway is pure crapola or like in the new Bourne movie where old dude drops a reaper at 1,000+meters with a hunting rifle its fiction. Now light it up with a ZSU or SA-7 that thing is toast.

In short, yes. In reality, probably not.

If you can get the bullet to the airframe it will likely go through, these aircraft are built to be light not built to be armored but its going to be flying pretty high up and its a fast moving target so getting the bullet to the airframe is not going to be very likely.
