Not scary, but high on the heeby-jeeby factor.

The third time I watched 'Blue Velvet' (that's how long it takes to finger stuff out), I got that whole up-your-back-down-your-arm-creep. Dennis Hopper is a genius.
'A Clockwork Orange' the very first time.
'Strangeland' as if Dee Snyder had nothing less than creepy
    The first 'Creepshow'
    'Hostel' just the whole idea

Jacobs Ladder. I'm not completely unintelligent, but I had to watch it twice before I got it, and it makes you think, and once you do that, the creepies settle in.

1408 with John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson.

Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon.

I forgot about that one, and for good reason. Great movie, but very creepy. The scene on the dance floor....thanks for bringing that back to my mind.

    You should read the book.

To add to the list, the director's cut of The Exorcist.

You should try playing the games on Silent Hill, they are 10 times more freaky and pyramidhead is frickin' badass.

I gotta mention the original version of The Shining. I actually clutched a baseball bat while watching that the first time as a kid.

anyone who has seen the legend of boggy creek . Has to have heard the music playing in their mind about 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning after watching it.

Yes as a kid growing up in Hot Springs I watched it when it came out. Because it took place in Arkansas/Louisiana, it was a cult classic.
