I hear lot's of opinions or suggestions for the correct trigger pull with disregard as to what weapon or what purpose it would be used for. I'm no expert on trigger pull, so I would like to hear the opinions of hunters as well as competitive shooters. Thanks for your opinion or suggestion.

this is my take on how to anwser your question. for competitive/target shooters a light crisp pull is good as to get quick and accurate shots with little hand/finger movement. for hunting i like haveing just a little bit stiffer of a trigger. that way i can be sure of my shot as im squeezing, and also giving me the oportunity to stop if the animal should move suddenly. should be the meaty part of the tip of your finger touching the trigger.

Thanks Silverado, this is very interesting reading. I recommend everyone read this before making a fool out of themselves.
I read someone's advise on trigger pull today and it was a classic concept of not knowing what you were talking about.
When I hear ignorant people give out advice like that, I just hope someone else will correct them.
Your article should be the correction I was hoping to convey.
You just earned yourself a thumbs up.;)
