Being fully retired, "working from home" has been the norm for the past 9+ years. It is farm chores and things to keep me occupied - things that I'm interesting in! We seldom leave the farm except for med appointments, which are then combined with replenishing "provisions". I have been off our farm three times this year; my wife perhaps six times - mostly due to medical appointments! I couldn't have dreamed of anything better post-retirement.

We'll venture into the bio-zone this coming week to get some more horse supplies, and then hose ourselves down when we get home and supplies are unloaded and stacked. We're both high-risks because of age an those infamous "underlying conditions". We both prefer being on our farm to anything else, so we're good!

In terms of cleaning my weapons, I have two projects: one that will take about ten minutes, and one that will take a bit longer. Cleaning my EDC Bersa. Takes less than 10 seconds to disassemble, perhaps another 5-7 minutes to thoroughly clean (includes powering up the air compressor), and another 5-10 seconds to reassemble. Pretty darn simple! Add another minute or so to clean the mag and all is good for another month.

My next project is initial cleaning of a new Mini-14 Ranch Rifle. Added to that will likely be installing a smaller bushing and, perhaps, adding an UltiMak scout rail. Not to mention the gazillion tasks/chores on the "to-do" list (gate replacement, fence repair, overhead fluorescent light fixture replacements, barn lighting improvements, pasture mowing, prepping our motor pool of lawn-mowers for the cutting season, and picking up and stacking a ton - literally - of horse bedding to last us for the next six months).

Plenty to keep me busy, and every one of them is far more rewarding than filling out a timesheet...

Trying to get a little video put together on seed starting using scrounged materials. Daughter here from St. Louis concerned about seed shortage. Something to do that might help someone.

    Pornhub? xvideos? no way.

xnxx.com + Clipgrab. download free. If you are so inclined.

ignoring my very long list of Chinese Watchlist Items. it's a delivery time thing. Going through my shorter and more expensive list of Ships from USA, contact seller, "are you shipping at this time"?

put a whiteboard in the bathroom. partly so the landlord can see "no cold water in sink since Jan 2017", and partly so I can document when I change the next roll of toilet paper and run out of Scope, because all of a sudden that is a thing to know.

bought a pellet gun at a pawnshop. and 1500 pellets. going to try to hit a plastic tub lid 60 yards away across the irrigation ditch. from a rocking chair on the back porch. country living.

My pellet rifle is capable of a head shot on a quail at 15 yards. My ability to do so is questionable. 15 yards is the range in my garage.

I really can't do my full time job from home, this is Wisconsin, we laugh at snowstorms and -60 weather and keep trucks rolling through everything. Welcome to the truck industry.

The sun actually came out for a few hours this afternoon. I got out and cleaned the tornado debris from the yard.
A full kitchen trash can bag full. Lots of small fiberglass blobs, tar paper, pieces of vinyl siding, and splinters of wood.
    Basically bits of people's houses.

Rand was a physician before being a politician. He understands the dynamic of the virus better than most politicians.
He also knows that all of this shutting down businesses etc is political smoke and mirrors .
As long as there are " essential businesses open, the rail and trucking industries that support them etc, the " shelter in place" , lock down businesses is so much political grandstanding that wont really stop or slow the virus spread.
Rand made the only realistic vote made.
Why go billions in debt, and wreck the economy to pass a bill that enables popular but relatively ineffective political grandstanding.

If the trucking industry shuts down the country will shut down. Within 2 weeks there will be riots. 4 weeks will be total chaos. 6 weeks and no country.
