Thought about doing this for a while now. Just a project to kill time while I watch tv, etc. I have seen no reports of adverse reactions to taking off the black oxide on Glock barrels as long as you dont go overboard and start concentrating in an area & removing layers of the steel barrel itself.

Anyways, anyone do this and have results to share? I saw a few YT videos out there with various methods....most involving distilled vinegar, 1000gr sand paper. Got a bottle of Flitz and some shop towels ready once I figure out a game plan
