Looking for a good inside the waist holster for a sig229 equinox, and one for a ruger sr9c. I'm ambidextrous too. Any suggestions?
I would look into crossbreed, I have two of them and they are great for concealment. They run about 70 or so dollars, very comfortable to wear all day.
Thanks mt...I was looking at alessi, and milt sparks too anyone have experience with either of those?
Take a look at Comp-Tac holsters several of the IWB holster allow for quick plastic holster section only to swap between pistols and have a glove leather backing to them for a very nice feel against the skin. This holster will fit both pistols with a $38 body only change- http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=95 I have used the minotaur neutral for several years and vam ery please with it.
I have a Milt Sparks VM2 for my P229 Equinox. The holster is great, but the P229 is very heavy and thick. You will also need to add a size to your pants and get a sturdy belt for IWB carry. I just got the P938 and it is an amazing difference in concealed carry.
I used to carry a P220 in a Galco summer comfort also about $70 and I use crossbreed supertuc for full sized glocks and 1911 also a nice holster and very comfortable. Also look at aholster.com I have. Even pleased with his work. Good luck!
