That Darrel Steinberg is a real work of art. NOT. He screws this state on every political issue he is involved with and not just firearms. The guy is a real sub human.

I thought that as of Jan 01, 2014 you already need a license to buy ammo that costs $50 and requires finger printing?

They did pass the law here, that as of Jan. 1st 2014, you do have to register all long guns like pistols when you buy or transfer.

It's time for CA to succeed from the union. The people of CA obviously don't like the constitution. If CA succeed's they can write their own constitution the way they want it.

All Blue states are like California. Voters in Blue states elect their leaders for more entitlements, relaxed drug laws and gun restrictions. They are no different than California. The loss of freedom is progressive some Blue states are simply moving faster than others. :(

Nancy Skinner was a major driving force of AB 48 here in California that Govenor Brown Vetoed in 2013. AB 48 would have required we register to buy ammunition along with some other asinine firearm laws. Darrel Steinberg, the sub human, and his cohorts are going to try again in 2014. It's really all about the money for the most part.

Follow the dollar and these, to us, asinine Bills they pass and try to pass are all about screwing us out of more of our $$$$$ through more fees, fines, and regulation. The more control they have the more they can get to our dollars.

Commie rats... Yes, but they are equally money grubbing, sub human, scoundrels.

This is very common with carrier politicians and good example for the need of tighter term limits.

Just think how much safer California will be when criminals and crazy people are no longer able to buy ammunition for their guns.

The liberal career politicians here and all other states really don't give a rats a$$ about their constituents safety or their kids safety.

For them it's all about control they think they can easily sell to the voters that can get bills passed to allow them to get their hands on more of our money.

If Ca police are enforcing the laws on the books criminals and crazies won't have guns. Oh, I forgot CA police don't want the laws on the books to work. So they give felons and crazies guns in exchange for information on crimes that demonstrate a need for federal funding.
