My name is Alan, my girlfriend and I are rasing our 1 year old son. And Ive recently enrolled in Penn Foster's Gunsmithing program. While it may not be the best out there it was what I could afford. Funny how you learn to settle when you get kids. The one gun I use to not be able to stand was a Mossberg 500. Recently I bought a 20ga combo, main reason was the cost. Couldnt afford the 870 anymore. But its all good, figure things can only get better in time. Im a upstarted beagler as well, my kennel currently has 3 males and 1 female in it. Cant wait till that season gets into full swing.
My main goal at this time is to complete my gunsmithing program and decide what to build debateing on either a 1911, AR-15, a bolt action .223, or maybe I'll attempt to build a shotgun of some type.
Guess I should mention at first I may look like a part time forum guy. But the only reason for that is because we havent gotten around to having the net installed at our house. Debating if we should wait till we can afford a Sat. or go ahead and get a phone line. So I'll be checkin in whenever Im visiting family. And with the boy thats every few weeks.
