In a purely combat scenario, would you want to be running the Remington ACR or the LWRC M6A2? I'm assuming 6.8 SPC would be the preferred cartridge for stopping bad guys. Price/availability are irrelevant. Here's the pros of both:

    ACR
    Melonite coating on the barrels
    Self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system
    Folding stock, adjustable cheek piece
Interchangeable barrels/calibers in a matter of minutes
    website: Remington Defense

    M6A2
    NiCor coating on the barrels
    Self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system
    Nickel coating on the internals
    Cerakote finish
website: LWRC International LLC - M6A2

P.S. Anyone know the difference between NiCor and Melonite?

    Henry,
Just so you know Bushmaster has a total recall on all ACR Rifles at this time. Advising discontinue use until they are contacted. Bushmaster is in charge of commercial sales and Remington has Govt. & Law Enforcement Sales for the Freedom Group who owns both companies. I am not saying they are a bad product but check it out before yous spend the cash. Do not know where they are going with this at this time. For your information only
