I just picked up my match target second edition .
It has a three digit #starting with 3xx-s . Are the guns serial number s run concurrent with years . I think I have one of the first guns made in this configuration. What year would this be from .
The boar is exelent and shiny no pitting . There looks like holster wear near the muzzel . I would put it at about 85%+
Could anyone tell me about this gun . I figure its around mid to late 1940s .
    Thanks F.K.

You've got an excellent gun! It's an extremely accurate shooter and very well made. I love my third edition Match Target.
