That is Sweet!! Since I like the feel of the 1911, I have to have one. My only reservation would be what kind of muzzle flip you get from the 3"?

    :)

You know I logged into Bud's sight today and saw these were available...I clicked the buy now button...confirmed the payment and ffl...went back to look at the little handgun in the online catalog and they are no longer available...I must have got the last one! I have been wanting one of these for some time now and the impulse buy timing was right on the money today! woohoo...:D There are still 9mm versions available but my Grand daughter isn't ready for a pistol yet...I'll wait till she turns 3...oh did I step in that? :p

With my 21st coming up in October, this has been on my short list of potential carries, so I look forward to a range report. I haven't yet had the chance to shoot any of the 3" 1911's, but I hear they're a pretty different beast from the Government models.

The reports I have read use the term "snappy" in describing the New Agent 45 pistol's recoil. You know recoil really is not as when I was a kid...you know, that government 45 will kick like a mule while blowing half the door away...rubish! Either our grandparents were a bunch of exhagerators or people have gotten less recoil shy in the last 50-100 years...
