    I Have a Colt .45 70 series Government Model. Its in excellent condition. I was wondering what the estimated value Of this gun is. Thx.

    If you were to search the *completed auctions* on Gunbroker.com for example, you might gain some insight.

    My guess on your piece is $650-$900 depending on the day.

    I would say that its in the $900-$1000 range

    Ummm, i mean NO...its not worth anything, you should send it to me.i will pay the shipping :)

    I would agree with both y'alls appraisal if it were a Gold Cup as opposed to a Gubmint Model. ;)

    When someone asks "what is it worth?", they are looking to sell.

    So how much do you need to take it off of your hands?

    That is what it could be worth (but not necessarily).

    Nice! I have one that looks just like it. Bought it in 1976 and very little trouble with it over the years. I'm not selling mine!
