I am not sure what it is and I am wanting any information anyone has on it. I think it is a 1908 or a 1903 but I have no idea what the difference is. The interesting thing is what I think the serial number is. It is a four didget number on the left side of the frame -- 93XX.

Is this a collectors gun with a high valu or is it one that I can put a few hundred rounds a year through?

Shoot it up. Colt Model 1908. They are also referred to as the "Vest Pocket". Not rare, but fun to shoot. The hard rubber grips are moderately fragile, and crack easily. And if removed for a long time they will shrink.

VEST POCKET MODEL 1908-HAMMERLESS Mfg. 1908-1946.

Blue book puts it at $500 for 90% down to $275 for 60%.
