I wanted to add a bit of color to my Eotech so it would add to the rest of my OD Magpul accessories. I detached the hood from my 512 and sanded it really good, then carefully applied thin coats of OD paint until i reached perfection.Just finally mounted it back on my rifle.

Great looking rifle man. Good idea I just might have to do something like that to my second one after I finish building it

Wray, something I forgot to bring up. I noticed my overall "tacticalness" rose exponentially after painting my Eo cover. We should form some sort of anti evil doers task force ;)

I want to take some ninja classes first though. You know, just in case my AR goes down. I have fairly quick hands. Keee-Yaaaa :D

Hell ya, sounds good. We will meet at the mall for ninja training, that way we get trained by the best. I dont wanna get hurt in field beacause i was trained by the wrong experts :)

    MrWray,

Great Idea and looks fantastic! Sure added to the cosmetics of the rifle also. And for once something inexpensive with a great presentation improvement. Got any more great ideas! :D

Thank you sir, sometimes just a small touch will make a big difference in the cosmetics. All it took was a $4 can of paint and some free time.

Looks great but...your EVIL black rifle is more green than black.

    Is it still EVIL?;)

Nice looking rifle Wray. Like the personalized aspect, and painting the cover was brilliant.

Ive been wanting to do this to my Eotech for a while. Same color and everything. I'm glad you did it first so I can see how it looks before I do it to mine lol. Looks great man. Good job :)

Thanks fellers, i love tinkering with evrything that i can make look better. Ive always been told that i cant leave things alone, heard that many times as a kid. I do my vehicles the same way, i like to personalize and add my own touches to everything that im able to.

To Andy, its not hard at all and doesnt take that much time to do. The Krylon camoflauge "OD green" matches the Magpul OD almost to a T.
