Quick side note on the CMP- and DO check what I am saying- things change. IF you have a military ID in your wallet- active, reserve or retired, you just met the "affiliated" requirements. If you have a military ID as a commissioned officer, you also met the proof of citizenship requirements (a non citizen can serve is the US military, but cannot be commissioned)
