clueless

    hey whats up everyone i joined this site because i don't know nothing about guns hopefully everyone could educate me abit. here's my first question, is there such thing as a 35cal lever action rifle and if there is what kind of ammo does it take.

    Marlin makes a .35 caliber rifle. It can fire a Remington cartridge.

    Seems like winchester chambered some of theirs for the remington 35 as well didn't they?

    They sure did. I've never fired one, but lots of oldtimers swear by them. Bigger bore and heavier bullet than a .30-30--probably no slouch for self-defense, either. A friend of my dad's took any number of Colorado elk with one. It's a short-range weapon, though, under 150 yards. Rainbow trajectory and all that.

    .35 lever rifle

    Not only the marlin that others listed but also the winchester big bore in .356,winchester model 88 in .358 win,savage model 99 in .358 win,and browning blr in .358,as well as a few .35 whelen(although rare).
